Open early despite chill, govt orders

Srinagar, Nov 30: Despite government orders that the schools should open at 10:30 AM, some private schools in the City violate the norms by opening the institutions early. This has put the schoolchildren and their parents to inconvenience in the chill.
 Greater Kashmir received many a complaint that the private schools including the one in the City centre of Lal Chowk start their work early.
 “This is really pathetic that despite government orders the private schools have taken us for a ride,” said a delegation of parents.
 They appealed the Commissioner Secretary Education, Naseema Lanker to look into the matter and get the government timings enforced in letter and spirit.
