Zoonimar protests against ‘poor power’

Srinagar, Nov 30: The residents of Zoonimar are up in arms against the Power Development Department (PDD) for allegedly supplying  poor power supply to the area.
 The residents said there locality barely gets four to five hours of power supply a day.
 “That too has no schedule and the power goes off after every few minutes,” the residents said adding the voltage was very poor.
 The locals have often been staging roadside protests over the issue.
 Despite repeated attempts the PDD officials couldn’t be contacted for comment.
