Take lightly

This refers to news wherein the National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah, has accused Geelani of relishing chicken soup while depriving others of vegetables. It is far from truth that Geelani is responsible for what is happening in Kashmir. The recent spate of violence is a direct consequence of the failure of police to maintain law and order in the Valley. Police resorted to indiscriminate firing on protesters at many places, triggering further protests and clashes. Farooq Abdullah must not consider the policemen as scared who are doing everything good in the Valley. Geelani sahib has rightly responded to Farooq’s allegations. But I want to suggest him that he must not take Farooq Abdullah seriously as none takes him seriously in Kashmir or New Delhi.
