Erratic power irks Iqbalabad, Madin Sahib

SRINAGAR: The residents of Iqbalabad Bemina and Madin Sahib Hawal have complained of erratic power supply.
The aggrieved residents told Greater Kashmir that the Power Development Department was not even following its curtailment schedule.
“The PDD is resorting to unscheduled power cuts causing tremendous hardships to the residents, particularly during the night hours,” the residents said.
“We apprised the senior functionaries of the department regarding the erratic power supply, but they turned deaf ears to our repeated pleas,” the residents added.
They sought the intervention of the Chief Engineer in this regard.
