Parking 'prohibtion' irks HSHS traders
Srinagar, Dec 10: The traders at Hari Singh High Street have complained that the police doesn’t allow parking in the area till around 2: 00 PM. This, the traders said, has affected their business.
“We are neither able to unload our goods nor is a customer able to take home his purchases,” the traders said.
They said they were being asked to park the vehicles only in the afternoons.
“How can we ask the customers to come for purchases only at specific timings. This is simply ridiculous,” the traders said.
Despite repeated attempts the SSP City couldn’t be contacted for comment.
Meanwhile, the HSHS Traders Association has appealed the District Development Commissioner Meraj Ahmed Kakroo to look into the matter at an earliest.
