Dawar Hussain is SP school captain

Srinagar, Dec 14: The SP Higher Secondary school student Dawar Hussain was Tuesday sworn in as the school Captain at a special function held there. The school authorities said it was for the first time since the inception of the institution that oath taking ceremony was held to appoint the school captain and the vice-captain.
Dawar, an all rounder who recently appeared in the class 11th exams was sworn in by Dr Bashir Ahmed, a popular teacher at the school.
After his oath taking ceremony, the vice Captain Aadil Bashir was sworn in by Dawar.
Besides students and teachers, function was attended by Chief Education Officer Srinagar and the school Principal.
The function started with the recitation of the school anthem which is composed by prominent writer Khalid Bashir. Meanwhile, a farewell function for the outgoing students of class 12th was also held.
