Goods worth Rs 5.15 cr traded at LoC

Poonch, Dec 14: Goods worth over Rs 5.15 crore were traded through 50 trucks between Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK) along Line of Control (LoC) at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point in Poonch district today, officials said.
As many as 25 trucks rolled out from Trade Facilitation Centre (TFC) at Ranger in Poonch district of J&K to PaK today, they said adding these trucks carried bags of coconut, chilli and cardamom worth Rs 1,21,91,493.
From PaK, as many as 25 trucks carrying bags of almonds, walnuts, pista, dry grapes and herbs worth Rs 3,93,38,964 came to this side, they said.
Officials from both the sides monitored the transportation of these goods at Chakan-Da-Bagh crossing point twice during the day from 1200 hrs to 1245 hrs and 1700 hrs to 1730 hrs, respectively, they said.
