Jora inaugurates wayside tourist facilities

Srinagar, Dec 15: Minister of Tourism and Culture, Nawang Ringzin Jora Tuesday inaugurated wayside complexes for tourists in Awantipora and Bijbehra for tourists. The wayside facilities including restaurants, public convenience and parking have come up at a cost of Rs 75 lakh.
 On the occasion, Jora said the Tourism department was committed to provide wayside facilities to the tourists en route all the tourist destinations in the Valley. He said the government of India has sanctioned a comprehensive project for providing wayside facilities on the Sonamarg-Leh and Qazigund to Uri highway.
 He said another project for development of Chinar Bagh at Kulgam besides Bosian, Bungus, Chittardaghi and Lolab circuit has also been sanctioned.
 Among others, Jora was accompanied by Minister of State for Tourism, Nasir Aslam Wani and Director Tourism Kashmir , Farooq Ahmad Shah.
