Overlook curbs, take out Ashura procession: Malik

Srinagar, Dec 15: Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik has urged all pro-freedom parties to overlook the curbs imposed by the authorities and ensure the participation of their activists in the historic Ashura procession on 10th of Muharram on Friday.
“Ban on Ashura procession since past 19- years is unacceptable to all of us. We need to come forward and ensure that Ashura procession is taken out this year,” Malik said while addressing mourners here.
On the occasion Agha Syed Abbas Al Mousvi made ferevent appeal to activists of Jammu Kashmir Anjuma-e-Sharie Shian to come forward and participate in Muharram processions said.
He stressed that Anjuman would overlook the government enforced ban and would take out Ashura processions come what may.
