Woman killed, 28 hurt in road mishaps

Srinagar: A woman was killed and 28 others wounded in road accidents across the Valley.
 A 45-year-old woman was killed after being hit by a car (JK09-4845) at Vodhpora, Handwara, police said adding the deceased had been identified as Haleema wife of Feroz Ahmad of Vodhpora.
 A bus (JK03A-1692) turned turtle near Tanky Wagoora, Islamabad (Anantnag) injuring 20 passengers, police said adding the wounded had been hospitalized.
 In another incident, a bus (JKE-9145) turned turtle near Mehjoor Chowk Panthachowk here causing minor injuries to three persons, police added.
 A Sumo (JK0L-3963) skidded off the road at Habber Lasipora, Budgam and fell into a Nallah injuring five persons, police said adding the wounded were rescued and shifted to hospital.
