JKTDC employees threaten agitation

Demand release of DA, regularization of daily rated employees within 15 days

Srinagar, Dec 18: All Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation Employees’ Union Saturday urged the managing director of the corporation to resolve the employees’ demands including regularization of the services of daily-wagers and release of DA within 15 days, failing which the employees would be compelled to take recourse to agitation. This was stated at a meeting of the Corporation employees organized here today by the Union with its chairman Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Bhat in chair.
 The Union has accused the managing director of paying no attention towards fulfilling the employees’ demands despite clear cut instructions from no less a person than the chief minister himself. “The Corporation employees will continue their   struggle under democratic norms to get the demands fulfilled. They will participate in the programmes being started by EJAC and JCC in Jammu to press the demands of employees,” said a spokesman of the Union in a statement today, expressing solidarity with the employees of JKTDC, Jammu.
