PDP sponsored summer unrest: Sharik

‘Omar a bold politician’

TARIQ RASOOL

Bandipora, Dec 18: The senior National Conference leader and Member Parliament Sharief-ud-Din Sharik on Tuesday accused Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of spreading "hate politics" and sponsoring the summer unrest in the Valley for its "own vested interests".
"The PDP is the creation of New Delhi. It  was created to crush the long-lasting unity among Kashmir people” Sharik said while addressing a party convention here in north Kashmir.
“The role of PDP during the recent turmoil was provocative. Their workers indulged in the stone pelting. Mufti Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti are responsible for the killings that took place during the unrest,” he alleged.
The MP said the "divisive and hate politics” being practiced by the PDP for "its own vested interests to return to power" was condemnable.

PRAISES OMAR
“Omar is the only Chief Minster who says that the Kashmir is the political problem and needs political situation. He is a bold politician and we appreciate his guts,” Sharik said.
Sharik urged youth to participate in the political process. “Come forward and be a part of the system,” he added.
