Rose Lane Colony complains of 'poor' voltage

Srinagar, Dec 18: The residents of Rose Lane Colony, Chanapora said they were getting poor power voltage due to which the area was reeling under darkness for the past few days.
 “We are almost without electricity during these crucial days when our children are preparing for their examinations,” the residents said.
 “Some blue-eyed people are consuming electricity lavishly as they use heaters, boilers and other equipments, all through unfair means. With the result we the common people are let to suffer,” they said.
 “We approached the authorities but to no avail,” they said.
 The locals appealed the Chief Engineer Power Development Department to look into the matter.
