CRPF organises awareness program at Shivpora

Srinagar, Dec 1: On the World Aids Day Wednesday, the 61st batallion of paramilitary CRPF organised an awareness campaign about the disease at its headquarters here at Shivpora.
 In a statement, the Commandant of the batallion, Durga Prasad, said a large number of CRPF personnel and residents of the locality participated in the function. In his address, the Commandant underscored the need for spreading awareness about AIDS.
 On the occasion, the batallion’s medical officer, Dr Sami Kounser, spoke about the AIDS awareness and its prevention. Later the batallion staged a drama to aware the gathering about the dreaded disease.
