Srinagar, Dec 1: Director, Business School, University of Kashmir, Prof Shabir Ahmad has been elected to the AIMS Executive Board. It is the first time that someone from J&K has been elected to this decision making body.
 Association of Indian Management Schools is a powerful network of about 700 Management Schools in India and all the prominent management institutes, top universities across the country are its members.
 AIMS represents Indian management schools in various international fora such as The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), Association of Management Development Institutes in South Asia (AMDISA) and Global Forum on Management Education.
 The mission of AIMS is the qualitative improvement of education offered by its member institutes.
 It has a strong presence at global level and has organized several programmes on its own and in collaboration with Canadian Consortium of Management Schools (CCMS), on Faculty Development, Institute Industry Interface, National and International Conferences, Round Table of Deans and Directors of Management Institutes in the country.
