Dev of rural areas govt’s priority: Sadhotra

Jammu, Dec 19: Member Legislative Council, Ajay Sadhotra today said the development of rural areas and implementation of welfare schemes was the priority of coalition government.
 Addressing a public Durbar in Rathua village in Marh here, he reiterated that the government was committed to provide clean administration to the people. Sadhotra appealed to the people to extend cooperation to the government
 He said Panchayat polls in the State would be conducted soon adding the process would ensure monitoring and completion of the development schemes.
 MLC impressed upon the people to strengthen the hands of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah for accelerated and all round development of the State and implementing welfare schemes in three regions of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
 Sadhotra appealed to the people to avail the benefits of various State and Centrally Sponsored Schemes like old age pension scheme, widow pension, handicapped pensions besides availing benefit under PMGSY, NABARD, NREGA etc.
 He appealed to the people to remain vigilant against elements who mislead the people and create hurdles in the pace of development.
