Tata Photon works slow in parts of Valley: Subscribers
‘Bijbehara worst hit’
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Dec 8: Users of Tata Photon today complained that the internet device was marred by poor connectivity in some rural areas particularly in Bijbehara and adjoining areas in South Kashmir.
A group of subscribers told Greater Kashmir that even as the device works smoothly with good connectivity in urban Kashmir, “it works quite slow in some parts of the Valley including Bijbehara and adjoining areas.”
The users said: “One gets Photon to have flawless connectivity at every place, but when the connectivity varies from good to bad to worse from place to place, the device becomes unreliable.”
The subscribers said even as the connectivity was poor in Anantnag (Islamabad) also, but for last over a week the service there has improved “and now there is no problem in the district.”
“But so far as Bijbehara and some areas in the neighbourhood are concerned, there is a lot of problem,” they said.
The subscribers urged the company to look into the issue and ensure smooth connectivity at every place so that they don’t face problem.
Despite repeated attempts no senior executive of the company could be contacted for comment.
