Total anarchy

Discipline makes nations great. When a nation is devoid of discipline the anarchy prevails. Due to unfortunate circumstances for the last twenty years or more, Jammu and Kashmir particularly the valley is witnessing the lack of implementation of law and lack of public order.  The Government is not able to restore the law and order and as a result we see rampant corruption in almost all Government departments. Roads and Government land is being encroached, water bodies polluted and also encroached, traffic discipline absolutely missing, health and education sector in a mess, power sector in disarray and above all a common man feeling dejected. Unless the Government is able to restore the confidence of a common man in its system, people will continue to lose faith in the system. It is imperative for the Government to see that people get justice. Government order or directive is taken so lightly that people don't even care of being caught or being fined. For example let us see the polythene ban and let us see how seriously the Government is trying to impose the ban. If such a ban cannot be enforced, it gives us a clear idea that how our Government will be able to function and how it can tackle the bigger issues. Politics aside, we have to develop as a nation and we have to learn to be responsible. The Governments normally don't work but it is the people who have to make the Government work.
