Yasin Malik, Aga urge Ulema to strengthen unity among Ummah
Budgam, Dec 19: Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front Chairman, Muhammad Yasin Malik and Anjuman-e-Shar-e-Shian President, Aga Syed Hassan Mustafa Mosvi on Sunday urged the Ulema to strengthen unity among Ummah.
Addressing a Muharram Majlis here Malik said Ulema could play a vital role to strengthen the unity and harmony so that the “evil forces aren’t able to create any wedge between the brethren.”
For this, Malik said, a seminar would soon be held where apart from Ulema, people from civil society would give their opinion.
Endorsing Malik’s view, Mosvi said he would provide all support for holding such events. He said it was only because of the unity efforts already in place that the Muharram processions were organized peacefully.
“The nefarious elements failed in their designs because we all were united,” Mosvi said.
Speakers from various organizations including Hurriyat (M), Itehadul Muslimeen and Jamat-e-Islami hailed Mosvi and Malik for their efforts for making the unity efforts a success which helped in the smooth conduct of Muharram related events.
