Resolve Kashmir for better Indo-Pak relations: Nayeem
Srinagar, Dec 21: Senior Hurriyat leader and National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan on Tuesday said the Indo-Pak relations would not improve until the Kashmir issue was resolved in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of people.
In a statement, NF said Khan visited Tapper and Delina in Baramulla and said, “Giving to its moral and constitutional responsibilities, the United Nations should play its role in resolving Kashmir.”
Reiterating its pledge that sacrifices laid by Kashmiris would not be allowed go waste, Khan said, “We respect the sacrifices laid by our people for the just cause. These sacrifices will lead us to freedom from India soon.”
Concerned over the increased rights violations in Kashmir, he said, “Forces were on killing spree with no respect to human life in Kashmir.”
He also condemned the illegal arrests and detentions under Public Safety Act of Hurriyat leaders and Bar Association leaders.
