Flight operation timing extended

Srinagar, Dec 22: Much to the respite of the airlines, the Indian Air Force, manning the flight operation at the Srinagar International Airport, Wednesday agreed to extend the landing and take-off timing at the aerodrome by one and a half hour.
“The Watch Hours (flight operation timing) was earlier from 9AM to 3 PM.
But now it will be from 9 AM to 4.30 PM,” said an airport official.
 Sources said the development, appreciated by the airlines, comes following a formal request by the AAI to IAF that the Watch Hours should be extended for the convenience of the passengers and the airlines.
