Salahuddin concerned over detainees’ plight

Srinagar, Dec 22: The Chairman of United Jihad Council and supreme commander of Hizbul-Mujahideen Syed Salahuddin has expressed serious concern over the falling health of all the incarcerated leaders especially Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Mian Abdul Qayoom and Asiya Andrabi.
 “We condemn the inhuman attitude of government and jail authorities,” UJC’s Muzaffarabad based spokesman Ehsan Illhai quoted Salahuddin as having said in statement.
 The UJC chief called upon the international human rights organizations and International Red Cross to take a serious note of the miserable plight of Kashmiri detainees in different jails and take immediate and effective steps to save them from inhuman torture and persecution.
