SWD holds awareness camp

Srinagar, Dec 22: The Social Welfare Department organized an awareness camp under Integrated Child Development Scheme at Eidgah here on Wednesday.
Scores of children admitted in different Anganwari centers under the projects participated in the programme held at Syedkocha, Kawdara. Besides, the employees of the centers and some mothers also participated.
Medical Officer, PHC Narwara, Dr Nazir Ahmad Mushtaq, informed the participants about health related issues.
He said proper implementation of the ICDS programme would go a long way in the development of the society.
He asked the Anganwari workers and authorities concerned to take care of mental and physical health of the children.
