HC stays suspension of SKIMS doc

Srinagar, Dec 25: The High Court has stayed the suspension order of Head of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of SKIMS, Soura Dr Ali Muhammad Buhroo till further orders.
 The court of Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar directed SKIMS authorities that Dr Buhroo would be allowed to continue as the head of the department till further orders.
 On December 11, the Director SKIMS, Dr Abdul Hamid Zargar suspended Dr Buhroo for allegedly misbehaving with the team of Medical Council of India, which was on visit to the medical institute.
 Subsequently, Dr Buhroo filed a writ petition through Advocate B A Bashir before the High Court seeking the quashment of the suspension order. The Court after hearing the counsel for petitioner stayed the order till further orders. The case has been listed for next hearing after vacations in February.
