2 killed, 5 hurt in road mishaps

Srinagar, Dec 26: Two persons were killed and five others including two policemen were injured in road accidents in the Valley.
A truck (JK09-3735) turned turtle and rolled down into a nallah near Yatra Niwas Qazigund killing the driver and another passenger on the spot, police said adding both the bodies had been kept in Qazigund hospital where their identity was being ascertained.
In another incident, a vehicle of police flying squad F-32 (JK01N-4162) met with an accident at Lal Chowk injuring two policemen Sg Ct Muhammad Shafi (No. 3284/S) and SPO Bashir Ahmad (No. 200/SPO), police said adding the duo had been hospitalized.
Two persons were wounded when a vehicle (JK04A-1648) they were travelling in turned turtle at Chritoo Beerwah, police said and identified them as Abdul Rehman Dar son of Muhammad Dar of Wachoo and Ali Muhammad Dar son of Ghulam Qadir of Waterhail.
A bus (JK01B-8793) hit and injured a woman Saleema wife of Muhammad Ashraf of Sheerwani Colony Baramulla near Petrol Pump Baramulla.
