CBMs must
This refers to the recent turmoil in Kashmir and the calm this time. It is high time for the Government of India to take some confidence building measure about Kashmir. The GoI must involve Pakistan in the talks process on Kashmir so that the dispute is resolved once and for all. Time and again the youth in Kashmir take to streets and hold protests. Police in turn acts tough and uses force to quell them. This leads to a vicious circle of violence which only consumes innocent lives while the killers roam free. The GoI must not allow such a thing to happen again. It must curb the use of force on unarmed protesters and allow people to protest peacefully.
