Doda tops NREGA implementation in JK

Srinagar, Dec 27: District Doda has topped in NREGA implementation among all the districts in J&K.
 This was revealed by Directorate of Field Publicity (Srinagar and Baramulla units) that organized a series of awareness programmes in and around Doda town as part of publicity campaign for PIC commencing at Doda from tomorrow.
 Today Srinagar unit organized a seminar on MGNREGA and other rural developmental schemes in Negri, Doda in Green Model Higher Secondary School while as Baramulla unit organized awareness programme at CDPO headquarters on ICDS schemes.
 Besides hundreds of students and anganwadi workers, representatives of NGOs, job card holders and senior officer of the line departments participated in these programmes and highlighted the main features and the important achievements, an official statement said.
 Assistant Director DFP Kashmir, M A Tantary, CDPO Doda Shahida Parveen and BDO Anil Kumar Chandale gave their presentations and interacted with the audience.
