Hizb commander killed: Police

Jammu, Dec 27: Police on Monday said that a divisional commander of Hizbul Mujahideen was killed in a gun battle in Jammu’s Doda district.
“A joint party of police and army cordoned off Chilli area in Gandoh this morning and launched searches. Militants present there opened fire on the search party which was retaliated triggering an encounter in which a militant was killed,” a police officer said.
He identified the slain militant as Ghulam Nabi son of Muhammad Shaban of Chilli Gandoh.
