Corruption everywhere

This refers to the article 'The crusade of corruption' by Prof GR Malik. I completely agree with the writer. Of course there is corruption everywhere and we all are involved in this menace. China is the most populous nation in the world but we hardly hear about corruption there. The society, the political system, the bureaucratic system seem to be better in China. Whenever a new developmental programme is initiated the greedy politicians and bureaucrats divert funds to raise their bank balance and ultimately social evils like child labour, bonded labour, poverty and unemployment are born. Our state has been figured on top among the corrupt states of India because we lack moral values and discipline.
