GOC 16 Corps calls on Guv
Jammu, Dec 28: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 16 Corps Lt. Gen J P Nehra, called on the Governor, N N Vohra, at Raj Bhavan, here on and briefed him about the security situation in the area of responsibility of his Command, a Raj Bhawan spokesman said.
He said the Governor discussed various issues relating to the continuing attempts of infiltration from across the International Border and LoC with the GOC.
This was Lt. Gen. Nehra’s first meeting with the Governor after taking over as the Corps Commander, of 16 Corps, recently, the spokesman added.
