Implement flagship programmes: Tara

Doda, Dec 28: Deputy Chief Minister, Tara Chand has stressed the need to implement the flagship programmes and Bharat Nirman rural development Schemes for putting in place the basic infrastructure in J&K especially in remote and inaccessible areas.
 Inaugurating the three day Bharat Nirman Public Information Campaign here, Tara appreciated the efforts of PIB and other units of Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, in reaching out to the masses by organizing programmes.
 He underscored the need to involve all the departments to come up with detailed information and education about the welfare and developmental schemes of the Central and State governments.
 He said the development profile in Doda had transformed with the launching of programmes like PMGSY, MGNREGA, IAY, SSA and NRHM. He said the coalition government was committed to augment basic amenities and provide education, medicare, road connectivity, electricity and water to each and every part of the state and region irrespective of caste, region or religion. He called upon the unemployed educated youth to come forward and avail benefits of self employment schemes of various departments particularly SKEmployment and Welfare Programme for Youth.
