Goods transporters appeal govt

Srinagar, Dec 2: J&K Goods Transport Companies Association, Parimpora Transport Nagar, here has appealed to the government for immediate resolution of the problems being faced by the goods transporters to enable them to run their business smoothly.  The association, at a meeting held here today with its president Muhammad Sidiq Ronga in chair, alleged that the authorities of Srinagar Development Authority were disturbing the transporters.  In a statement on Thursday, a spokesman of the Association said since the SDA had left for Jammu, a delegation of the transporters met the other officer, apprising him about the problems.
