Kani Kocha needs surface drains

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Dec 2: Inhabitants of Mohalla Kani Kocha, Kalashpora in Shahr-e-Khaas have complained that despite orders of the Chief Engineer, Roads and Building department the work on surface drains in the area wasn’t being started.
“Till date the concerned haven’t taken any action for construction of surface drains as a result of which the adjoining houses and the recently macadamized road has started getting damaged,” the locals said.
“Further delay is feared to aggravate the problem,” said MY Farooqui, a local.
They appealed the local MLA and the Chief Engineer to look into the matter.
