Verinag to get budgeted space

Jammu, Dec 2: The Central Government has approved funding for construction of budgeted accommodation at world famous tourist destination Verinag in Kashmir Valley.
 The construction work on Rs 3.52 crore project would be started after completion of the codal formalities, an official statement said. This, according to the statement, was revealed by Minister for Tourism and Culture,   Nawang Rigzin Jora, while chairing Verinag Development Authority Members meet here today.
 Jora said that a project proposal of Rs 2.67 crore for construction of Tourist Reception centre (TRC) at Verinag have also been submitted for funding to the Union Ministry of Tourism and work on this project would also be started after the approval of the Centre, adding that the TRC would have all modern facilities for visiting tourists.
