DFP subservient to objectives of freedom struggle: Shah

Srinagar, Dec 29: Democratic Freedom Party chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah said the party had always been subservient to the objectives of ongoing freedom movement.
“The party has come into being to pursue freedom struggle and its every programme is supposed to focus on the objective of freedom. We need to make our party more vibrant and effective as strong party is essential for a strong movement,” Shah said, while addressing office-bearers and other members.
Shah reiterated the pledge to continue the struggle till the objective of freedom was achieved. He exhorted upon India to read the writing on the wall and initiate sincere steps for resolving Kashmir issue for the abiding peace and prosperity of subcontinent.
