Power cuts

This refers to worsening power situation in Kashmir Valley. It is for the first time in the past few years that the power curtailment is so harsh. When the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and his colleagues fought the assembly elections two years back, they had promised better electricity to people. The Bijli Pani and Sadak slogan was yelled across the state. Where is that promise now? It is the moral responsibility of the state government to do something with regard to power cuts.
