This refers to the articles reflecting the “pivotal role played by coaching centres.” One should be aware that coaching centres have played an imperative role in shaping the future of our children. One cannot ignore or try to malign the role of coaching centres, how meagre it may appear. The coaching centres are a means to bring out the hidden talent in children. They bring together people with same ambition to a common platform. One shouldn’t hit in the air by terming these centres as “money mills” or “money extracting machines”. These tags rather suit to schools where even to paint a classroom or make a lavatory for children; the parents are approached. After all the coaching centres doesn’t forcibly pick up students from their homes and drop them in their centres. It is lack of standard in schools which stimulated the students to turn to coaching centres. A student, being mature enough to think about his career, always feels the need of a private tuition to improve his grades or achieve cherished goals. It is quality of education which is to be focused on. If today this quality is provided by coaching centres which normally should have been done by schools-what is wrong in it?  Had the schools been able to gain the confidence of children or taking the necessary steps to modernize education, it itself would have been the farewell for coaching centres.
