Infant dies

This refers to recent news stories regarding infant being administered expired injections at G B Pant Hospital. The hospital authorities are not ready to take the blame. Just tell me why on earth parents will lie about their dead child. Their child has died and it is not only this case which has happened at G B Pant hospital. Whenever the hospital has been in news it is only for wrong reasons. The hospital authorities, doctors, paramedical staff have to understand the value of a child to his family, the happiness which a child is going to bring in the family's life, the pains his mother must have gone through during her nine months of pregnancy, the circumstances she would have faced but she would have tolerated all odds to give birth to her child, to bring light in her world. But a small negligence on part of medical or paramedical staff will ruin all their dreams. This is simply not done. A recent story showed the pathetic condition of washrooms in the hospital which are now garbage bins. A child hospital has to be neat and clean. Its staff should be dedicated and committed in its efforts to bring smile on face of a child's parents, not to take it forever.
