Student among 2 killed in road mishaps
Srinagar, Dec 4: Two persons including a student of Saint Paul School were killed and two others injured in separate road accidents across the valley.
A motorcycle collided with a load carrier (JK02X-1276) at Bugam killing the rider Shabir Ahmad Bhat of Bugam on the spot, police said adding a case had been registered.
In another incident, a student of Saint Paul School, Sonwar Irshad Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Hassan of Najebat Baramulla fell down from a Tata 407 (JK01B-4677) near Nowgam, here wounding him critically police said adding Irshad Ahmad was shifted to SK Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura wherein he succumbed to his injuries.
A Sumo (JK05-9097) fell into a gorge at Gingal Uri injuring a passenger, police said.
An unknown vehicle hit and injured a girl Mehvish daughter of Khazir Muhammad of Housing Colony Bemina near Police Public School, Bemina, here, police said.
