KU students win Nationals in Debate,Photography

Srinagar, Dec 7: A team of Kashmir University students have won awards at the 26th North India Level Youth Festival held at Jhansi.
 The event was organized by Association of Indian Universities in collaboration with Ministry of Youth Affairs , Government of India , GOI, at Bundelkhand University.
 A KU handout said a team comprising 26 members led by Shahid Ali Khan, Cultural Officer, KU won three prizes in Literary and Fine Arts events.
 “In debating competition,  Naveed Tramboo and  Uzma Falak won first prize, Shifa ul Hameed Baba won 2nd  prize in spot photography and  Tasaduq Hussain won 3rd  prize in poster competition,” it said adding Shifa ul Hameed Baba has been selected for nationals in spot photography.
 The  KU VC, Prof Riyaz Punjabi Registrar, Prof S Fayaz, Registrar , Dean Students’ Welfare, Prof Nilofer Khan congratulated the contingent director and students for the feat.
