Bloody January
This refers to the news titled “Bloody January; Another life lost.” It is really shocking to see Kashmiri children being killed this way. Zahid’s killing is sixth since the beginning of 2010. Forces are killing the innocent civilians without any reason. One wonders when this bloodshed will end. The first killing was of a teenager Inayat Khan. Nobody knows why he was killed. Then, on January 16, forces killed Parvaiz Ahmad Hajjam for none of his fault. On January 22 Manzoor Ahmad Sofi was killed by paramilitary troopers. On January 24, troopers killed Mushtaq Ahmad Mir. Now it is Wamiq and Zahid. Is this what India calls democracy? It is insecurity and genocide.
