High drama

This refers to the article titled "The high drama?" by Khurshid Mir. The author has nicely brought the drama at New Delhi Conference before the people of Jammu and Kashmir. As a state, J&K came into existence by virtue of the Treaty of Amritsar signed between Maharaja Gulab Singh {founder of the state} and the East India Company in 1846.State remained under the Dogra rulers from Maharaja Gulab Singh to Maharaja Hari Singh for 106 years. He has referred to Rajinder Sacher’s saying that "I want freedom of Jammu and Kashmir, but that must be the J&K of of pre-1953". The pre-1953 position would mean end to the jurisdiction of the Reserve Bank of India, Election Commission, Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Theoretically one finds it easy to discuss the solution of the long-pending issue of Kashmir but practically one is willing to address it.
