Killings aimed at demoralising people: Javid Mir
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, Feb 10: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) senior vice-chairman, Javid Ahmad Mir today accused the forces of killing youth and teenagers to demoralise Kashmiris.
“We have been witnessing these killings since 1947, but were never cowed down by such acts of armed forces. Such killings have always intensified our struggle for right of self-determination. India should, therefore, note that each innocent killing will instil new lease of life to the ongoing struggle,” said Mir, while addressing a condolence meeting at Zahid Farooq’s home at Brein, Nishat, on his Rasm-e-Chaharum.
He asked India to stop killings, release all detainees, revoke draconian laws and withdraw its forces and take steps for resolving Kashmir through tripartite talks.
Meanwhile, Mir has strongly condemned the attack on the former Pakistan minister, Sheikh Rashid.
