Air India clarifies

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, Feb 11: The Air India today clarified that it had to cancel its flight to Ladakh on February 10 because of the bad weather.
“Yesterday we had cancelled our flight to Ladakh because of the bad weather. The runway at the airport there was covered with snow and landing would not have been possible. So we had to cancel the flight,” said a spokesperson of the Airlines.
“Some passengers who were scheduled to travel by the flight had blamed the airline for not providing the satisfactory service without realizing that the runway at the airport was not suitable for proper landing of the plane,” he said.
However the spokesperson informed that Air India today arranged an additional flight for the passengers who had faced the cancellation to ensure their comfortable travel to Ladakh.
