AS College 'denies' admission to Commerce students

Srinagar, Feb 13: The female students who recently qualified 12th class examination accused the Amar Singh College authorities of denying them admission in the Commerce stream.
 A delegation of students told Greater Kashmir that AS College authorities were denying them admission in the Commerce stream even though the college provides co-education in other streams. They said the Colleges comes in their catchments area.
  They said it would be difficult for them to commute from the up-town to down town as the two colleges offering Commerce degree were located in down town area.
 Principal AS College, Tariq Ahmad Kawoos said that AS College is a boy’s institute. "I can’t give more information on phone,” he said and dropped the phone.
