‘Low agri-productivity mars JK’
GK NEWS NETWORK
Jammu, Feb 16: MLA Doda Abdul Majid Wani today said low productivity in agriculture and allied sectors has impeded employment and income generation in the state.
“There are limited job opportunities available in government sector and state exchequer is heavily burdened with pay bills,” he said, adding that it was the duty of the Industries & Commerce Ministry to generating more and more economic activities across the state to absorb unemployed youth and promoting trade and industry on large scale.
Meanwhile, Wani has appealed to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to gear up pace of industrial growth in the state.
