Visually impaired for reservation in jobs

Jammu: The visually impaired persons today demanded restoration of reservation quota in jobs.
A deputation of the National Federation of the Blind, J&K Branch met the Governor, N N Vohra and submitted a memorandum of their demands.
They thanked Vohra for providing Rs 50,000 for the Louise Braille Memorial Residential School for Sightless Girls.
The Governor said it was the obligation of the society to take care of the physically challenged persons and ensure their welfare and socio-economic advancement.
