Naqshband Sahab Urs observed

Srinagar, Feb 18: Thousands of devotees including men, women and children thronged the Naqshband Sahab shrine here on the annual Urs of Hazrat Khawaja Bahau-ud-Din Ahmad Naqshband Sahab (RA) to offer Khoji Diger.
Special prayers were offered on the occasion for the peace in world in general and Kashmir in particular. The religious scholars present on the occasion threw detailed light on the life and teachings of the revered Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and urged the people to follow their life and teachings in letter and spirit. They also highlighted the role of Hazrat Khawaja Bahau-ud-Din Ahmad Naqshband Sahab (RA) in spreading Islam and hailed his social and religious services.
The day is being observed every year with traditional fervor and gaiety.
