Haryana crush JK by 208 runs

Srinagar, Feb 19: Jammu and Kashmir senior cricket team made it five out of five losses in the Vijay Hazare Trophy-North Zone, going down by 208 runs to Haryana in their last match of the campaign at Bansi Lal Cricket Stadium, Rohtak.
 JK had lost previous four matches in the event and were playing for pride. Haryana batting first piled up huge total of 312 runs in the allotted overs for the loss of four wickets. Opener R Dewan scored 131 while N Saini scored 105. For JK, M Gupta took two wickets while Samiullah Beigh claimed one.
 In reply, JK was bundled out for paltry 104 runs. Ian Dev scored 29 while V Kaw contributed 19. For Haryana, Druv Singh took five-wicket haul while AB Sonkar took three. Haryana won by 208 runs.
 With this huge win Haryana stormed to the top of the points table. The match was set up for them by twin centuries from opener Rahul and wicketkeeper Nitin.
 JK were never in the hunt chasing down the imposing 313, and lost wickets quickly.
 In recent years it was worst performance of JK team in one-day tournament. In all the matches they lost by huge margins.
