DGP reviews Mela arrangements

Jammu, Feb 20: The Director General of Police, Kuldeep Khoda, Saturday inspected the venue of Police Public Mela, which is being held tomorrow at Police Sports Stadium, Gulshan Ground here. The DGP was accompanied by senior police officers.
 While inspecting over 40 stalls, established by various wings of the police, the DGP stressed upon the organizers to ensure security in and around the venue without causing any inconvenience to the visitors. He asked the offices to work in coordination and make the event a success. He also enquired about the arrangements made for electric supply, drinking water, entertainment for children, conduct of painting show, traffic and parking of vehicles for visitors etc. he discussed the conduct of raffle draw for fabulous prizes in a transparent manner in presence of public at the conclusion of the Mela.
 Among others, the DGP was accompanied by ADG, (CID), K Rajendra Kumar, IGPs, S. Gopal Reddy, Dilbag Singh, A K Gupta, M Amin Shah, Dr. B. Srinivas and Ravinder Kotwal, DIGs, Farooq Ahmed Khan, Alok Puri, T Punchok, Danish Ranan, Mela Nodal Officer, Mirza Amjad Parvaiz and AIG, (Welfare), Sameer Rekh.
